Description
Eldridge Overton Educational Programs is owned and operated by educators and mental health professionals. We offer well-developed, outcome based academic and social programs. Upon completion of our program, our students earn better grades and exhibit higher levels of confidence academically.
We are a multi service firm that continues to offer an array services to its clients including; private after school and weekend tutorial, summer camp, academic youth courses at Colleges. Moreover, the company also offers character education and life skill development programs for children and adults, Workplace Readiness, College Preparation, GED, ESL, Standardized test preparation, gifted and talented courses and study skills development. State regulations mandate that all active teachers and educational services personnel in New Jersey complete 100 hours of professional development every five years, consistent with the New Jersey Professional Development Standards. Our professional development courses fulfill this requirement. We are approved Supplemental Service Providers for the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania; therefore, we have been recognized by as offering high quality tutoring under the auspices Federal No Child Left Behind Law.
We take a unique and innovative student focused, curriculum based approach to teaching which promotes the students' realization of age-appropriate milestones. We believe in creating an environment that provides constant opportunities for "hands on" experiences for our students that mirrors those utilized by colleges and other higher educational institutions across the nation. All of our programs are created in alignment with core curriculum content standards.
Through a balanced combination of personalized assessments and focused teaching processes, our students develop the tools they need for ongoing success throughout their academic career. Our success depends on our attention to the needs of our clients and truly helping them achieve their full potential.
Eldridge Overton Educational Programs provides supplemental education programs to students of all ages and skill levels. We have the knowledge, experience and unique ability to work with special populations (students with disabilities, gifted learners, English language learners, etc.). Our varied teaching methods reinforce our flexible and active approach to learning. Tutoring sessions focus on helping students grasp the concepts they will need to know to perform well in their class, as well as developing study strategies to effectively prepare for exams in their class. A long-term focus of empowering students is favored over a short-term problem-solving strategy.
Hours of work
Monday - Friday: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Summer 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Locations
Various locations throughout the states of NJ and PA. Our program is offered in schools, colleges, libraries and community centers. Additionally, we provide in-home tutorial and programs at our corporate office in Bridgewater, NJ .
